Betül Ertem Yıldız

Betül Ertem Yıldız graduated from Middle East Technical University, Electrical and Electronics Engineering department in 1992. She completed her graduate study at İstanbul Technical University and Linköping University in “European Studies of Society, Science and Technology” program. Her career started at NTTI-Bilvak as a member of the operation team of the first interbank clearing system of Turkey and continued as a consultant mainly in finance and telecommunication sectors at Sybase and Microsoft Turkey offices respectively.

Having established Karya Bilişim Ltd. Şti, she provided Governance-Risk-Compliance (GRC) consulting, auditing and training services to enterprise level firms and organizations in Turkey and abroad between years 2008 and 2022. As a contracted auditor and trainer of BSI Eurasia, she carried out certification audits and tutored implementation and auditor training courses on information security, privacy, business continuity and IT service management systems

Betül Ertem Yıldız has been working as BDO Turkey GRC partner in BDO İstanbul office since July 2022.
