Mehmet Emin Çiftçi, who has more than 17 years of experience in the area of Information Systems and Technology, joined BDO Turkey in 2018.

His expertise areas include Information Systems Auditing, Information Security, IT Governance, Risk Management, Business Continuity, and Compliance. Besides local information systems regulations; he is an expert as practitioner, consultant and auditor in international standards, methodologies and regulations which are COBIT, ITIL, Governance-Risk-Compliance, Sarbanes-Oxley Act, PCI / DSS, GDPR, ISO27001 - Information Security Management System Standard, ISO20000 - IT Service Management Standard, ISO22301 - Business Continuity Management System Standard, BS10012 - Data Protection-Personal Data Management System Standard.

Mehmet Emin Çiftçi, who worked as a Software Development Specialist, Business Analyst and Project Manager in the first years of his professional career, has been in various positions such as IT Processes and Information Security Specialist, Information Systems Consultant, Instructor, Information Systems Auditor and Compliance Manager since 2004.

Before joining the BDO Turkey, he worked in international audit companies, in banks and in information technology service companies. He has experience in various sectors including Finance, Banking, Telecommunications, GSM, Energy, Municipality, Automotive, Manufacturing, Defense Industries, Logistic, Tourism, e-Government and R&D.
